Pioneer in Lancaster Co. warrant 1743.

Served in Capt. Matthew Dill's Co. Col. B Chambers Regiment.

Andrew Miller had one of the original land patents from which the town of Annville, Lebanon Co., PA was formed.

He was a miller & built a mill at the west end of town on the Quitapahilla Creek. Andrew died in 1754 and his eldest son, Abraham, I believe platted out the town. Abraham moved to Allen Twp, Cumberland Co., PA about 1767 and purchased a mill on the Yellow Breeches Creek.

Andrew's second son, Jacob, may have stayed in Annville (then known as Millerstown) and operated the mill.

Andrew's only daughter, Christina, married a Jacob Miller. She had died before 1762 and nothing is known of her offspring (or if there were any).

Andrew's youngest, Andrew, may also have stayed near where the City of Lebanon is today for a while. He then may have moved to the Paxtang area of Dauphin Co., PA.

MARGARET FUNK 1 was born in 1718. She married ANDREAS MUELLER on 5 Nov 1738 in Mt Zion, Lebonon, Pa.

ANGOLA PAPER, 3 MARCH 1920, PAGE 2 BARBARA MILLER was born in Cumberland County PA., Dec. 23, 1840, and died at the home of her daughter Mrs. G.A.Corey, Feb 11, 1920, aged 79 years, 1 month and 19 days. She came to Steuben County with her parents when about ten years of age, since which time this county has been her home. She was united in marriage to Jacob Eckert Feb 13, 1866, and to them nine children were born, five of whom survive; namely, Mrs. G.A.Corey, Mrs. Richard Tasker, Joseph and Peter Eckert, all of Jamestown, Frank Eckert of Angola, Ind., three step-sons, Abraham and Isaac Eckert, of Jamestown, and Jacob Eckert of Hamilton, Ind.; one step-daughter, Mrs. Barbara Nettleton, of Saginaw, Mich., fourteen grandchildren and other relatives and friends to mourn her departure. She was taken seriously ill January 21st and gradually grew worse until death came to relieve her sufferings. For several days preceding her death her suffering was intense but she bore it all patiently and uncomplainingly. She was a kind and loving mother and was highly esteemed by all who knew her. She was a strong believer in the gospel of good works, and was ever ready to extend the helping hand to those who were sick or in trouble.
