line 1 is FIELDING MERRIFIELD, son of Alexander Merrifield and grandson
of Samuel Merrifield I.
He is also the brother of John A. Merrifield (1860 census on the
right). With Fielding is wife Abigail.
Database have sons Daniel Boone Merrifield and Erasmus Darwin, however,
it is unclear if the
Jefferson recorded in this census is Fielding's son.
