This
1820 house in Blooming Grove, Kentucky has carved
woodwork in each room and is listed in the National
Register of Historic Homes.
Samuel's 2nd great-grand niece, Mary Merrifield
Brackenridge, says Samuel was a surgeon and rumor
has it that he operated in the basement of the
house which stayed in and out of the family until
not too long ago.
