Charles
Martin Merrifield was the son of Henry Michael
Merrifield and my 2nd cousin twice removed.
Here he is with his father-in-law, Richard
D. Mayfield.
Only
3 years ago did I learn that Charles had moved
to Orange County, California (as did his brother,
William Donald) and lived not 10 miles from
where my Dad, Frederick Winfred Roberts, and
I lived in Huntington Beach. I am not sure
if they ever met.
