In the front row on the left is Elizabeth's son, William Alvia "Al" Malson, 2nd great-grandson of Samuel Merrifield. Next to him is his wife, Ida "May" Brantner and their son, John Rodgers Malson, 3rd great-grandson of Samuel.

Elizabeth died a few months after this photograph was taken.
