Malson Ancestors & Kin
Descendants of George Malson ~ 1796-1872
Much of the information for my 3rd great-grandfather, George Malson, and his descendants, comes courtesy of Harriet Jane Malson, widow of my 1st cousin once removed, John Rodgers Malson, great-grandson of George. This information was passed down to John from his father, William Alvia Malson, in 1937, which in turn had been passed down to him by his mother, Elizabeth H. Merrifield Malson, wife of John Alex Malson who was George's first born son.
Information also comes courtesy of my 3rd cousins once removed, Ludella Pittman Ebinger and William Marshall Malson of Ohio, and Malson researcher, Ranny Simmons of Indiana.
