Roadway truck driver-David L. Malson-WhitelandDavid Lawrence Malson, 53, of Whiteland, formerly of Columbus, died at 7:05 a. m. Tuesday, Aug. 5, 1997, at Lake Mead Hospital emergency room in North Las Vegas, Nev. He was a truck driver for Roadway and was a veteran of the Air Force. Memorial service will be conducted at 1 p. m. Wednesday at Myers Funeral Service, Reed and Jewell Chapel on 25th Street, with the Rev. Mark A. West officiating. Calling will be from noon until service time Wednesday. Private interment of the urn will be at Garland Brook Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the David L. Malson Trust Fund at Gantz and Associates, 944 Fry Road, Greenwood, IN 46142. Mr. Malson was born in Bartholomew County Dec. 15, 1943, the son of Carl and Clella Hendricks Malson. He is survived by his wife, Mary Serre Malson; daughters, Kerri Dainty of Warner Robins, Ga., Jerri Smith of Indianapolis and Kristina Davis of Great Falls, Mont.; a son, Todd Malson of Florida; a brother, Darrell Malson of Las Vegas; a sister, Lorene Hilderbrand of Redlands, Calif.; and 11 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Karen Walker.
