Not wanting to leave the area she accepted a job with Ritchie Co. Insurance Agency and retired after 30 years in the insurance business.
She graduated from Harrisville High School in 1954, and attended several insurance related schools over the years. She is a member of Riddle's Chapel Congregational Church and was church secty - treasurer for 16 years. She is a member of Anne Royall Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution, using the service of John Wilson and Lawrence Mealey as her ancestors.

Though recorded as "roomer", John & Ernest Malson are undoubtedly the brothers of Opal Malson Steiner. I am uncertain who Sadie Malson is. Possibly the wife of Ernest Malson though Ranny Simmons' database has a spouse named "Elsie ?" for Ernest.
Also, from Ranny Simmons' database, Alice is the daughter of John T. Malson, however, he has Ruth Horton, as John's wife & mother of Alice. Alice is recorded as born in Ohio but both mother & father born in West Virginia which would preclude she is the daughter of Sadie since Sadie is recorded as born in Ohio as are her mother & father.

John B.Malson's 3 sons were all born in Sistersville, W.Va. from what my sister told me. My Granddad was Samuel Martin Malson. He born Dec 21, 1894 and he died Oct 27, 1984.
He lived in Moundsville, W.Va. most of his life, married to Anna Minyo. I'm not sure when they were married though. She was born in 1903 and died in 1963. Grandpap died in Dayton, Ohio in a Veteran's Hospital. They had one son, Robert and 5 daughters..Dorothy, Violet Jane (my Mother), Cleo, Mary Rose and Joyce Ann.
My Grandparents are buried at Riverview Cemetery in Moundsville, W. Va.
