1860 Census for Sistersville, Tyler Co., Virginia

On line 4 is my 2nd great-grandfather, John Alex Malson, followed by wife, Elizabeth, and
daughters Eliza and Susan who was my great-grandmother, Susannah.

My grandmother had always thought her mother, Susannah, was born in 1854, but this
census recorded Susannah as 1 year old. Every census thereafter indicates that Susannah
was born around 1859.
