My great-grandmother lived to be either 94, 97 or 99 years of age. My Gramma, Martha Adeline Bradford Roberts, believed her mother's year of birth was 1854.

Susannah's death certificate records 1856 as her year of birth. The informant on death certificate was my Gramma's sister, Anna Mae Bradford Hoffman, and she most likely provided that year.

However, the 1860 census records susannah as 1 year old, and 60 years of censuses thereafter all bear out that her year of birth was 1859.

She passed away July 15, 1953.
