My
grand uncle was Gramma's younger brother. They were very close and
wherever she lived, he wasn't far away. Whenever I stayed with Gramma
at
her house in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Uncle John was usually there.
He was
the only one of her siblings that I knew. In fact, until July of 2003,
I didn't
even know that Gramma had any other siblings. There were 8 altogether.
He moved back to Pennsylvania and Gramma the following year where
they both lived in West Alexander, Pennsylvania. You can view the
only known photo of him on the Our Bradford
Origins page of this site.
Uncle John is buried at Park View Memorial Cemetery in Wheeling, West
Virginia.
