Headstone of Schriver Simms & Martha Simms Roberts

This photo, taken at Stone Church Cemetery in Wheeling, West Virginia, comes courtesy of Jim Knight. Sadly, overgrowth had obscured my Gramma's name on the marker which reads:

MARTHA SIMMS ROBERTS
1882 WIFE 1971

In actuality, Gramma was born in 1883. Schriver Simms was her first husband and the father of my Dad's half-siblings, Barbara Elizabeth Simms and William S. Simms. You can see photos of Schriver, Barbara and William on the Bradford Heirloom Photo Gallery of this site.
